^ Well, it WAS in somebody else's bedroom. And it is in the Shot of the Day book, and I DO have little moments of panic when I imagine the respectable couple whose house it was casually flipping through a book in a shop and seeing ... erk!... their own bedroom in it and... double erk!... a naked body cavorting in it and taking pictures.

^ It's quite strange, really, how popular this shot is. I like it a lot myself, because there is a kind vulnerable strength - or perhaps strong vulnerability - about my body and posture in it. It's a revealing rather than a sexy shot. The slight and pale body looks a little challenging about its naked frailty, but at the same time, there is a strong sense of concealment. That's how I see it, anyway. (Not that I was planning any of this at the time, of course. It's just how I feel about it afterwards.) But still, having said all that, it's not a picture I would expect to really stand out to anyone else and I'm surprised and glad that it does.

i don't know if this has already been said here in german, but this shot is amazing! i love that even though you're obviously naked, the shot itself is more suggestive, not too overt, still tasteful and stunning.

Gibts in dem Raum zwei Spiegel oder ist das ein gepolsteter Sessel im Hintergrund? Die Vorhänge find ich zum Schaudern. Der Körper und der rechte Arm haben mich entfernt and Botticelli's Venus erinnert (ein bißi ähnlich aber auch wieder ganz anders.) Schön, auf jeden Fall.

^ Die ganze Einrichtung ist einerseits edel, mit Antiquitäten und glänzendes Silberzeugs überall, aber andererseits entpricht sie den totalen nicht-witzig-retroartigen-sondern-toternsten-völlig- überladenen siebziger Geschmack. Glaub mir, die Bettwäsche war wahnsinn. Die kommt hier überhaupt nicht zur Geltung Das im Hintergrund ist ein Stuhl, was selbstverständlich genau zum Spiegel passt. Das mit den Armen von Venus beunruhigt mich leicht. Die sind ihr irgendwie andauernd abgefallen, nicht? Plumps. Arm ab. Schon wieder.
