The only way to settle the faux arguement perhaps is to take a picture of the print. I also found the marks to be somewhat suspicious as no two negative sides are ever the same. The mark near the boys left arm and in the left corner are identical to the previous photo. I took the two images and layered them together and the marks line up exactly to one another indicating to me that these could be....faked? Sorry...

sorry, but then the "dirt" in the pics of the boy is accidently the same?

^ The black mark in the upper left hand corner and the black mark further down makes it seem that way perhaps. I was surprised when I saw that. But look at the photos closely and you will see. The bottom right hand corner, the upper, etc. The photos were stuck together and were dropped and stepped on. I think the black marks that seem the same are the result of the heel of a shoe making an impression on them together. Those are the only things in the frame that seem the same. Sounds implausible even to me and I own them, but it is all true.

some naive one just told me yesterday, you would not win SOTD with a textured picture and here you are... not shure about Picassa so... looks like Photoshop or Gimp?
do you think of sharing this texture? nice pic!

^ there is not texturing in photoshop on this photograph. the texture comes from the polaroid itself. i don't know anything about Picassa, but i'll look into it. i'm glad i won though, even if people are confused about the process. thanks!

Thank you all very, very much. I am using up the last of my 669 film and love the images, but it is always dangerous to love your own images. It can blind you. Your comments give me perspective and courage. I am truly appreciative.
