so I should go to Rome one day ;) ... we'll be flying over to Budapest this summer ... the great synagogue there is the largest in europe and the second largest of the world ... can't wait to see it ... ;)

^ i don't know if he is from venezia, i think he was an italian jew living in greece, if i'm not wrong. he's one of those survivors that go talking in the schools and on tv about the shoah. i know the ghetto of venezia, i've been there a few times and i love it. i love also the ghetto of rome, i go there once a while and they cook artichokes in a delicious way:D

^ i just love how it sounds. it's not common at all in italy and i have heard it just because the name of one of the most active auschwitz survivors is shlomo venezia. i think you're the second shlomo i heard of in my whole life. :)
