here's a site that may be of interest, if you haven't seen it already: »link however, the info he has on spectra film may only pertain to the u.s; there may have been spectra b/w film in the foreign markets. ???

it's a proverbial "if i'm going down, i'm taking at least one toy with me!" btw, all spectra film was color...so you may have retouched this, but it still looks to me as being the real thing. if i happen to come across this pola in my findings, i'll let you know and send it back to you. :)

Hmm! I remember there being a few different types of spectra film, but I could be wrong. Also, there were different spectra films in Paris when i got there with this camera later on. But you're probably right, I probably accidentally removed the color from this at some point!

like very much the "b & w"-ness of this and its grainy quality, plus the backstory is compelling too. 1 vote.

I bought that camera when I was already over my head in credit card debt, but I figured I needed something to take with me as I went down! I'm pretty sure that was black and white film, is that possible? I remember buying different films that day. Or maybe I've retouched it, and if so, I didn't mean to be misleading (I scanned this years ago, and lost the original in all my moving around the globe).
