hmm synchronicity? i think the fact of discovering of somebody elses art mirroring ones ideas is more like an event of selective attention. synchronicity would be something like 2 or 3 artists publishing a picture of a idetnical subject at the same time..without any communcation about that. ( i think jung illustrates the concept of synchronicity with an event, where one of his clients tlaks about a dream of an scarabäus..and at the same moment a beetle of the family of scarabs beats his head against the window of jungs study....)

^ Yes thats why I said at the same time, And many artists show the same details (not even even themes but concrete symbols like the beetle which represents transformation which you mentioned) represented in pieces done in the same time lapse. Ive seen this a lot people who dont know anything about each other uploading things incredibly alike. You should keep an eye out.
