I actually bought a box of 20 different broken clocks on eBay. So I'm playing with the idea of using them in a "swarm" or "forest". I can see it's all going to end up as another tortuous balancing act involving leagues of selotape and whole lightyears of fishing wire. (Chuh, the things one does to avoid using Photoshop. Or doing housework.)

This is very lovely.
Funny how motifs come up in phases sometimes. I've had this big box full of crazy old alarm clocks under the sofa for nearly two months now, just waiting for a chance to do something creative with them, and yesterday Wish uploaded some clock shots, today you. Maybe they should make a project out of it.

^ oh, i didnt even see Wish's clock - have to get caught up on that ;) i'd been wanting to take some clock shots for ages too (esp in double exposure with a face) but i dont have any clocks at home. I actually went past a clock shop this morning as i was on my way to the post office and thought, damnit, i gotta go back again with my ol SX-70! glad you like these anyway, thankyou :) |
