ah, on those lines, I'm there already - it's just you get a really lo-res pic. one guy I knew actually had prints made form the S8 film, which I'd love to do, but it was an expensive business.

That's good news, that you looked into that procedure. I'm sorry to say...I'm currently on dialup and my computer runs soo slow for any type of vids (it doesn't due justice to all the vids that are posted). Perhaps in the near future I can upgrade.

As I remember..years ago, there used to be photo services that copied to vhs tape and maybe now it can be copied to DVD (then it would at lease be digitized). But, I bet it doesn't come cheap!

I'm glad no one was in, or they might have complained about the noise! I remember shooting Super 8 in a grand library in Edinburgh - terrifying...!

You are so right. At times we have to tred softly. Libraries are a special place for me. Say, have you tried to copy a frame or two off of your Super 8?
