Lots of disputes here!
Thanx a lot for the SOTD.
Thanx for your comments.
The point of doing this kind of shot with a polaroid is that you're not supposed to. You have to think of a way to create the illusion.
Just like when you realise stencil with spraypaint. You prepare everything, you spray, and the magic happens.
So yes, some tricks, some masking, some strings, to get a real polaroid and real pleasure.

What exactly you cannot understand? You modify an 600 film in order to take multiple exposures, You set it on a tripod in front of a monitor, you put a wallpaper, shot, a hyman body, shot and then a son of a mother duck.Oh yeah, i forgot. Shot. So inspiring...

@deemarcus: no effects? what by your means is an effect? thereīs as many ways to manipulate a polaroid as there are polanoiders here (well, maybe not that many, but not far from it...) I think that the very thing that makes polas so beautiful are the various effects you are able to make in hundreds of ways.
And no, itīs NOT real life. It is a picture. It is a polaroid for chrissake. Iīm sad to be telling you that a piece of paper is not - and cannot be - real life...

but Iīll also like to add that I do not understand how the hell this specific sotd is made, but thatīs not the issue, or is it?

ps suck whatever you care for

I just don't see why you would do this with a polaroid picture. Polaroid pictures are great to me because there's no effects, it's real life. p.s. suck my dick lazyeye

It's a great picture, and you seem to know how to do multiple exposures so deemarcus may be a little harsh. I just wish I had his fantastic grasp of the English language and could express myself as eloquently...congratulatio ns anyway.

Thanx a lot! That's very touching.

@showandtell:
You have to modify the film pack. Your aim is to block the mechanism that shoves the film into the rollers. Usually this is done with a metal strip.
It is not a top secret, but a trick back from the 80's.

:)

^
Actually we did not use this trick, because it blocks the mechanism, and our SX-70 likes to be free.
There's way better to do multiple exposure...

Fantastically strange. I love it. Even the expression in the duck's eye is perfect. He looks thoroughly absorbed in thought. Hats off for this skilful analogue trickery.

wow! I love this effect, how'd you achieve it?
^
Thanx a lot!
All i can say is that there're 3 exposures, and no photoshop involved.
