I'm always confuddled by which pictures people like and dislike (or like less).
I didn't think there was much call for straight up Polaroid landscapes these days.

Shows how little I know I suppose...

But yeah, it was sitting in my van for a week and when the new project was announced I had to go and unrummage it from beneath piles of cider bottles and ashtrays. Glad I did.

I would have thought it was easier to drinnk from a gusset rather than use a spoon. I've never tried but am willing to experiment.

Very real... I don't know how they managed to build it. Huge human effort... Or whether they understood what an amazing thing they were doing. I hope they did because it must have been a hard life working 200 m underground.

they were incredible.... 6ft perfect lines..... a few people were surfing the wave in the photo but it's a long paddle.

Was it windy? I'm just looking at the inside of those walls and remembering that I sometimes find it odd the way the shadows of sturdy objects don't move in the wind.

I think the answer probably lies somewhere in the laws of physics. Is a shadow a wave, a particle, or just a negative space made by evil goblins.
