i can't really tell which i like most. concerning the verses which some skipped, some have, and some differ, there's too much context and history i'm not aware of in detail anymore. but the basics.. and what it really comes down to - if it's sung well. with hope in human mankind. and not blind. without any radicalisms.
i liked hearing the italian though. and got into understanding italian after a few days even. a bit. i started to learn it afterwards. i should have continued. it's a lovely language.
ah, they're all sinking in their own madness, aren't they? countries. i guess the more one knows, the more one wants to part. germany? goodness. the french are laughing about politics here. latvia? goodness. i laugh about their understanding of it. still, i love latvia. and learned to dislike germany less and less.
do travel. madness is everywhere. travelling is the best way to get over it. and understand it. it's about oneself.
in fact, while thinking back to san giorgio, i feel like i should go there again. revisiting people. and views.

Thank You.

Now I'm in love for the french version.
I'd like to live in France.
Italy is going to sinking in her own madness.
2010-08-04 // 23:28:15 g. have you also sung the song for breakfast?
(it's one of my fondest memories.. in a little gallery in italy which was the center of the local communist party for long. a house with history, and it was going to become a gambling hall.. when a friend decided to better open a gallery instead. and he managed. so at the opening, late at night, we've been there, in the dark, with candles, in a room behind without a window. and suddenly all my italian friends started to sing. i was surprised they all knew the lyrics. and about their voices as well.)
