i have tried your method,
but the pola always comes out.
So i pressed the yellow button
on the right which stops the
outcoming.It is not quite
satisfying, but i got some useful
results.
Perhaps i will try again or have
to change the method..

so how do you stop the exit of the picture?
is pressing the bottom of the camera the
right way?

Sorry for the late answer, i just block the exit of the rollers, you can do it just by pressing down the swinging metal thing where 'polaroid sx70' is written. Then you take the film cartridge a bit out, enough to make the camera lose contact wth the film battery and then the camera will spit out the photo completely. Not very sophisticated, but maybe interestingly random!
