i more meant the exposure than the tonal range, but you may be right about it being better with these colours. still evaluating!

^ Ah! Yes, it's interesting how this one came out - I think the exposure on the tree is about right, the grass is a little under, and the tower over the hill a little over... It all seems to work, though! |

the colours may be muted, and hard to work with

^ Thank you very much! I do agree about the range. I think its colours work well with earth tones - a lot of the pictures I've seen (and done) tend to concentrate on primaries, but I think in some ways it does better with natural greens, browns, golds.... |
