Jay
I can't think of a compliment high enough to compliment you with, partly because I'm inordinately tiddly for a Tuesday night and partly because you are such a shmashinglyfantabulousgeni ush. Lucky Arles.
Esther and Arles, the perfect couple.

You should have Tuesday drinkies more often. I wish I could offer you a peanut or some crisps right now, but it's Wednesday morning and probably too late.

Can you put me on a leash so I can follow your every footstep ?

And yes, hope to get inspiration from one of your spiritual farts ???

Oh dear Goddess, please, some day...

^
You may be in luck some day. I'm usually kind to the good sorts of dogs who sit up and beg.

I've given up on trying to put together nice comments for this series, but I'm pretty much at a loss for words.

don't ever stop doing this!

OK Birdboy. I won't! (To be honest, I've been having all kinds of wild fantasies about building myself a whole doll house to live in. So I don't think the mini-me adventures are over yet.)

Your Mamiya has proven itself perfect for these sorts of shots, by the way. I tried it out on this and the Vienna picture and the sharper detail was ideal. I've got this system of rings you can attach to the back for macro shots instead of using a close-up lens and it came with this attachment that lets you look right through the back of the camera instead of relying on the viewfinder (which is totally inaccurate, as you'll surely know). So methinks this is going to be it's new speciality.

g.
you never cease to amaze me.

i'll just contemplate a bit more about the image and leave the missing sentence 'and no animals were harmed for taking this' (and if not, i could borrow you the proper snail tongs).

ps: it's tuesday ;)

I wanted to do something more sensible, but under time pressure, I couldn't find a Frenchman to model for me. So there seemed to be nothing else to do but get out my grandmother's old snail tongs and go a-hunting for a mollusc who could model in a French style -with that laissez-faire joie de vivre and oozing in flirtacious Gallic charm.

I think the snail enjoyed itself. Though it hasn't replied to any of my text messages. (Sigh. Faithless creatures.)

Tuesday eh? Fancy that.
