Rumschpringe - fyi...is when Amish people are allowed to have an off period in their teens (or until they make up their minds!) , where they are allowed to go out into the world, where normal clothes, have jobs, do what they like, in order to decide whether or not they wish to be baptised into the Amish church. I want to go and corrupt some Amish, are you with me?

and this little person there is certainly not don quixotte, but somebody who came there and thought, oh why not starting to use this windmill again? it's so beautiful.

(and yes. i also used one of my px70 simply for party shots. felt good.)

^ It's hard to explain the feeling to anyone who doesn't use Polaroid, but I find that it feels sort of "wrong" in a way that feels exhilerating, but nobody around you understands. As if you'd just left an Amish village and walked into a bar in lipstick and hotpants and nobody there thought anything of it - but you knew you were doing something forbidden.
