2010-09-20 // 21:58:29 Jay I'm jealous. And not 'cause I haven't got my very own jimsnade (I do have my very own windmill) but because I can't produce anything like this colour/presence/contrast with the same film and same camera. Does it really look like this in real life?
^
Hm. Yes. It does look like this. This particular picture had the strongest contrast of all the ones I have taken so far. I can't say what makes the difference as I haven't done any more with the new film. It might be a specific light and temperature combination, it might be the way that particular cameras expose - I have found that certain cameras get better results than others with the new films and have hence been sticking to a specific camera when using them. It migh talso be that the quality varies from one pack to the next and I just got lucky with this pack. I'm definitely not doing anything special with it or jazzing it up in Photoshop. The next shots I do may end up as blue murk for all I know.
2010-09-20 // 19:30:40 TheGentlemanAmateur Yeah, this is cool! The gesture is really strong.... the lines make it jump out of the frame - especially with the stripey shirt & the windmill in the background....

Thank you. It was a spontaneous shot and I'm sure it would have been nothing without the stripes.
