Ha ha ha ha ha! I love it! This is certainly one of the funniest entries so far.
Let's think... Yes, you definitely get extra points for amusement, for Polanoidic self-referentiality and for blatant pandering to the judge with anti-tree shot activism. I am also highly impressed with the creative misusage of a kitchen curtain rail and sponge, the self-imposed difficulty of positioning yourself for the shot while "blind", and most of all with the skilful operation of a cable release with your left hand and crotch.
It's a shame the joke doesn't translate well. I keep thinking of ways to get the blindness reference and the ambiguity into one sentence but it doesn't seem possible. Maybe: "I can't stand the sight of another tree". Or more simply: "I can't possibly look at another tree" which is a bit diluted, but gets both meanings across. It's a real translation challenge.
