I haven't got the graflok back up yet, alas.... nor a proper MF camera! But i do like the holga, much more than the diana - i think it's actually surprisingly reliable once you get to know its quirks.... i have a bunch of mf stuff i've shot on it in the last couple of years that i've never posted, because the polas seem more urgent, somehow.....

I've shot tmax in the holga - it's ok but not as good as portra! It's definitely true that different bw films are different - i way prefer 664 to fuji - but i'd always rather have some 669 or iduv - if only for the skies....

T max in a holga ? You need a proper camera ! ;) I've been doing some diana, but the photographer who developes them said: " forget about it"... Lately I've been using the yachica mat, can't wait to see the results. They'll probably be full of light leeks. I know what you mean about 669, I think it's also my favorite, but way too expensive, for me anyway. Try some harman direct positive paper, if you've got the graflex back up...Hign contrast ! Could be interesting !

No, no progress there I'm afraid! I've shot a little more BW packfilm, but the best of it is about as good as my worst colour stuff.... I think I should probably accept that I just see in colour, and be done with it!

You don't just see in colour ! Just by your framings and textures I know it 'll work out...All black and whites are different . Not one single good 55 on my side but I love 665 and find it so much easier to use... Have you tried some tmax 100 in 6x6 ? with a twin reflex..I'm sure you can work something out !

The tulip is also very fine, but unfortunately one effect that doing photography has had on me is that I seem to see things as colours these days, rather than as what they are! It's probably a common condition among photographers....

true;...It's always good to get back to black and white for that very reason...This was one of those" let's burst the colours out of this film" photo. How are you doing with the fuji black and white film ? Any results ?

I got that line in a couple of shots as well....mine had less definition and went to a yellowish tone...no idea why or how to get rid of it...you are not alone hahaha....

Rrrrr ;) Doesn't it annoy you ?
