This is so so marvellous, it makes the other pictures on this site cry and ask their mothers to take them home.

P.S.: I first read 'soul spitting' and found it wonderful

^ Tell you what: that metaphor makes me want to cry "Mummy!" Soul spitting - interesting image. A bit like breathing fire, only wetter. I can see myself employing it as a technique to kill people's pot plants.

A mix of both would have been awesome! the shadow in this one is amazing! congrats again!

^ It would have been good if I could have somehow combined the plus points of each, but as so often, there were too many compromises involved. First of all, I didn't want to burn this one so much, as there is little empty space and I might have lost detail. Then there is the fact that the colours on this one aren't as intensive because everything in the frame is quite dominated by the warm light. But if I'd moved it away to make the blues come through more, the shadow wouldn't have been as stark or vivid. So I've ended up with two versions with different advantages. (Arrrr. That drives me nuts, actually.)
