Yep i loved the film, great for this kind of shot. Must see how long it last and how it works in variopus conditions, but seem quite a good improvement !

Eve black. I wonder where Eve white is?
^
Eve White is sitting at an office desk earning my living for me. She's much too dull and virtuous to get her picture taken.

yeah yeah yeah

As the Fab Four once said.

Did you like the film, by the way? Your shots in the TicKL boudoir certainly all came out perfect on it.

Opposite.
^
Oh. That's not so good.

This may be little comfort, but I'd be happy to whisk you off to the Burgess Shale for a Cambrian escape any time, if you thought it would help.

Not whoring anywhere... Long story which i'll tell you very quickly: I haven't taken a photo for months.

I hope this is a case of happiness rearing its creativity-killing head.

Argh ! Now you got me fondling for my dictionnary again ;( !!!
Félicitations & love.

^
Thank you Philippe. (I'm not sure the dictionary will help you. It is all nonsense. But if you enjoy the feel of the pages, then go for it.)

Hopefully not too much of a gash. That all sounds rather violent!
^
Well, your gash might be violent, but mine is a gentle wee thing, I assure you.

It's not the golly I was fondling...now who's a silly girl?
^
Oh golly!
Or maybe that should read, "Oh gosh".
Or perhaps more aptly, "Oh gash".

That's exactly the one I was after, how did you know?
^
It's the way you always stare longingly at my right inner elbow while inappropriately fondling a golly. Did you think I hadn't noticed? Silly girl.

Esther Space Oddities....love'em!
^
Ha ha - yeah. I think we're all feeling a deep desire to flee from the planet at present. I know I'd secretly rather be whizzing about the cosmos with an SX-70 than sitting down here watching the Earth news every night.

Oh how i've missed your face on the cover.
You must have had significant withdrawal symptoms.

Narcissistic as ever.

^
Yes, it's been so long. My mug and gusset went out of fashion long ago. I suspect this is some kind of temporary retro-revival thang. Must milk it while I can.

Where've you been anyway? Whoring around at Fuckr?

Gorgeous. I'm not talking about the picture.
^
Right. You mean the demonic, schnozzle-nosed homunculus that's metamorphosing out of my forearm. I'll have to introduce you next time we meet.

Tell you what, I could hardly believe it, seeing this on the front page this morning. You could have knocked me down with a foggy Bonsai twig!

One of the very best images using TIP film!!
^
Thank you! They are certainly making progress now. Who would have dreamed they would make this sudden leap? Good to see some detail and some really strong colours (not to mention some weirdness).

Oooh, that's fantastic! I haven't seen anyone torture this film quite so beautifullly yet!

thaks so much! I´ll definetly give it a try even though I´m more into the SpeedGraphic/large format bussiness these days...this is the first shot I really like made with the new film.
^
I hope you can do something you like with it. Colourwise, I think this is probably quite untypical of how it usually acts. But there is definitely some magic in there if you start to experiment. I was really happy with the film. It's my favouite Impossible innovation so far. (Though I'm sure it won't oust large format from your heart!)

what a great shot Esther! the colours and specially the texture! how did you messed it up so much?
This HAS to be the next cover!

^
Thank you! The answer is "evil experiements". I had a tungsten lamp on the yellower side of the pic and a daylight lamp on the greener side plus a blue filter over the lens. That got the colours this way. (Though it's naturally warm, the film still seems to have really deep and subtle blue and green shades if you can just force them out.)

The messed-up textured effect was by heating the surface with a lighter 24 hours after development. (Do it before that and the emulsion flakes, goes pale and separates between the neg and the mylar. If you wait a day, the emulsion gets pretty robust and remains intact, so you can really burn it a lot, over and over until it bubbles like this.)
