The funny thing is that I immediately thought of other potential photographers than you for this one, when I saw it on the front page : it just doesn't look like the US to me ! Of course you could have been traveling. But no.
You just made an entire ocean disappear in someone's head for a few seconds.

^ Thank you and re-thank you! This is an odd place and not typically American either, I agree, although it is not nearly as old as it is trying to appear. It is at the top of a hill near my house with this high-walled park that has views of the city and surrounding areas. It is very beautiful but I hadn't thought to take pictures up there until recently. I don't know why. As always, I love your insightful comments. To make an ocean disappear....what a powerful thought!
