OK, so do you plan ahead thinking, "There will be a dark area here in exposure #1 that will allow exposure #2 to come through," or do you just snap two overlapping shots you think will look good together? Do you underexpose both shots a bit so the combined image is just right?

See, too many questions, not enough answers! I guess I should be more like Nike and just do it.

ha, well, sometimes I'm more exacting than others. Sometimes it's more a mood I'm after and other times I, for instance, track where certain things are from frame to frame, particularly when blowing out part of one image with the other may be a factor. . And yeah generally I underexpose 1/2 to 1 stop.

Man, you are definitely mastering the double exposure thing. Another great one. I've never even tried it. Too skeered!
