Phillip tends a farm in Connecticut, and the barns are commonly painted in deep red color, which is the background of this shot. After seeing the result, think I'll get a backdrop of the same color.
I initially thought of using a fill flash to get a "catch light" in the eyes but I am happy with this one.

Yes, new camera, sold a bunch of gears and some originals 4x5 polaoirds, it will probably be my last large format acquisition. The lens is a Kodak Commercial Ektar 12 inch f6.3.
