Ah, yes
Makes sense then
Why I can feel so lost on here these days
Because then
I am
Lost
(But only on here and perhaps the internet as a whole)

I feel grateful to have discovered this place
When I had
Timing was perfect really

Lots of dust while moving from Baltimore
The building we lived in was built in the late 1800s
And for America
That is quite old
Actually during the earthquake in 2011
I thought our building was just falling
All on its own because of age
Earthquake never crossed my mind
First thing that crossed my mind was
I am losing it!!!
As I felt all off balanced
The place and things in it swaying
Rainer was in his bed reading
And I ran to him and asked
You see and feel everything moving too, don't you?!
He looked at me with pure puzzlement
No, nothing is moving mom
And went back to reading
So for a few moments more
I really did think I had lost it
Then commonsense hit
And I got us out of the house
Out in the street with all the other folks

We are back on the Monterey Peninsula
I get to watch hummingbird battles everyday
I found a red tail squirrel tail on a log at some woods by our home
I presume the rest of him was taken by a hawk or falcon
I presume

I am doing beautifully
In admitting my faults and failures
And embracing them
And tackling my relationships with my family
One by one
Not accepting the unacceptable
Making lots of progress in the things that matter most to me
Feels good

And how are you and yours?

^ I certainly hope it isn't, but I've been asking for it to end for almost a year now. No one here has the ability to do so. As zveliakine says - we're a ship without a captain. How are you? Where are you? Did you get the dust out of your eye? ;)
