Tree Houses
Because human-beings are not the only lifeforms that inhabit the campus. The campus is a living space for not only humans, but birds, and squirrels, etc. I have always found the whole construction concerning a nest to be fascinating. It is so interesting to watch the birds carefully gathering and instructing these makeshift homes. And each one is unique in its own way.... possibly refecting the personalities of the birds who live in these nests.
This image was shot across the street from me on the Wayne State University campus in Detroit. I was on my way back from the post-office and noticed these nests up high up in the trees. I saw this and I thought of the Living Spaces project... even though I think that is supposed to be about our homes... but I figured that since this was right across the street from my home it could count as something and isn't too off topic.
