Tip:
When I post my last work with sx70 someone ask for the tecnique. There are
many sites on internet about the sx70 manipulation, but I think that in many of these the autors miss some pratical tips. So after a lot of lost film I try to help you (if you excuse my bad english), not with a course but with some helpfull information.
My first error is to work very fast, NO, you have time, if you don't want to confuse the color wait 2 or 3 minutes and start to work when you have the image developed. You have hours to made your work. Somewhere I found that you can work on the polaroid for 3 days.
The only excepion is the black lines ( remember, you can made black lines on white area and blank lines on the other area) that you can made fast.
The best picture is verexposed of 1/2 or 1 stop with simple coloured object.
To move the colour I usu a metal tool. I start to move it on the area that I want change, but only when the tool is hot for the movement the colours
move easily.
After I move the tool on the line that I prefear not hard defined.
To start I suggest a portrait, and you work with your tool around the subject. So you start to understand how to work on sx70 creating beautiful
texture ( and you don't lost film and money)
