Pressed Pennies
365: A polaroid a day for a year, day 30.
A handful of pennies may not equate to "cash" (fifteen cents to be exact), but for me, they represent a lifetime of memories. A trip up the Space Needle, a walk across the Golden Gate, a climb up the Eiffel Tower, a sunny day spent in the sand in Huntington Beach, a swim with stingrays in the Cayman Islands, a cheap dinner in Chinatown, a day spent staring at jellyfish. All these memories are captured on pressed pennies. For me, those memories are more important then all the cash in the world.
