this pic is my first encounter with polaroid. It happened at the Paris Photo Fair, in 79 or 80, can't remember exactly. Some guy from the polaroid company took this pic as we were passing by.

I was broke at the time, so I stole my first camera from the advertising agency i was working for at the time. I did a lot of polas after that, until the digital age broke in. Then, i'm sorry to say so, I just forgit about my camera for a few years... until I found all these pics, carefully stored, again. Then I typed POLAROID on Google, to see what has become of it... and just landed here... and the story got a new begining.
My old Photography professor, in my schoolyears, used to say : "you don't learn photography, you catch it like a disease".
Weird enough, the girl beside me also became a photographer, although she was not at all in this idea at the time.
