this picture moves.. I think photography and art in general is about moving people right? so you did it with that. as for the technique how you made it: photography in itself s a fake, as you are only able to frame a little bit of wahat consists reality, right? the amount of non-photographing with a photograph exceeds the shown by far in every scene. I wouldn't feel too bad about this. I'd feel proud to be able to move people with it. and as long as you don't pretend to have been down there with the sharkies, I reallly don't see a prob.
nice!

I am glad you see it that way and appreciate your kind words on it, thank you :-)

I love this series.
There is a Ikelite underwater housing for the sx-70, for the surrounding ...

thank you.
Yes, I held it in my hands once. It is massive! But I think it can not go that deep, because of the pressure? and going up after 10 photos? And the money to afford it or to lend it, to go to such a place, to find a swarm of those very varying kind of also dangerous fish, it is just..something far away in the future, also concerning light 8it is endlessly dark down there and difficult to capture. Silhouettes like this are more managable than anything portrayed horizontally or below etc, and there is no very high integral film (despite 600..but I guess you'd need it higher) so it makes it difficult non the less! but we can dream :-) thanks for the info non the less of course!

gorgeous anyway, got my vote !

I know I know
as said, a matter of economical, financial reasons and this thing does not go 30 meters deep because of the pressure.

But otherwise, yes, something the like in higher depths might be possible :-)
