did you ever see the movie? 29 palms? I've been to the Nevada and Arizona, driven the back roads and each time I am scared out of my pants --- but it is simply so utterly beautiful ---

^ I haven't seen that movie, but I agree it was a very scary drive.. so dark at night and we really thought we were going to run out of gas!! but well worth it :)
