Every now and again something good comes out of this head! Oh and by the way, 3 of my work mates are from England! I think that makes me half British or something!!

Thanks man! I really had a good time doing them but wish they looked as good in a photo as they do in person but still I am happy with the results. very glad you dig them too!

How did you frost them? Did you use some sort of liquid you submerged them in or is it some sort of spray?
I'm sorry if I'm bothering you but I really like how they look.

^
Dont worry your not bothering me at all!! to answer your question the frost coating comes in cans like spray paint so you just spray it on. it only cost me 4U.S.$ for a bottle of it & I found that each jar requireda few coats to get what I wanted.

Just great! I love projects like these. Did you color the glass first?
^
well the first one I did I just made the transfer on to clear glass but the image didnt stand out enough so I tried coating the inside of the glass which was a disaster. After that I frosted all the jar before the transfer and it worked great, just wish the polas I took of them really showed how good they really look!

Like the idea very much, really a nice work.....

got the idea after I collected like 50 fireflys in a jar and tried to take a photo of them. Didnt work well but out of that came this idea so I am happy! thanks

great concept & execution.

Thank you. It was a bit more difficult than I thought to get a good shot of these. If you have too many lit jars you cant get a good look at the actual photos on the glass & if its to dark out the light just burns a hole through the picture so again the actual picture is hard to see. I want to play around with the idea a bit more but I only have one thing of integral film on me and it happens to be sx-70 film which I dont know if I want to use yet.
