2010-05-24 // 00:17:26 Antonioni I enjoy this handsome image very much Uberernie, as you've chosen a time of day with good lighting, displaying the facade with an attractive feel of depth with shadow detail under the awnings and overhangs. The modern designed auto on the street fits in so well by showing the architecture within its surroundings. Of course I respect your feeling for wanting more from this film, I'm guessing because you've seen first hand what it has to offer, but I feel that you have produced an excellent exposure here with great highlights on the auto, so much detail in the shadows, and rich blacks, not to mention the wonderful tone overall.
Maybe all you need is an assistant to capture the print as it's ejected from the camera, or as I'm sure you've read that others have actually taped a dark bag to the front of the camera. Forgive me for offering suggestions about about a film that I have yet to wrestle with. V&F Kind regards

Dear Antonioni, thanks so much for the elaborate comment! The SX-70 is new for me, it's a wonderful yet simple camera. I'd like to try out more the dark-light settings it has.
An assistant, yes good idea :-) Or maybe the dark bag, I was indeed thinking about that.
Another factor may have been the temperature: it was quite a hot day (around 25 degrees Celcius) which may very well have given these pictures their brown tone.
Yours,
Ernest
