Is the monkey a metaphor?



Sorry, my humour is stupid. Great story (and shot), i think everyone can identify with you!

^ This particular monkey was a macaque. I’ve heard rumours of metaphorical monkeys roaming the hills, but I've never seen one myself. I thought I saw a metaphorical giraffe once, but it turned out to be a simile.

well, that's always the way, and if you had saved the shot, the monkey wouldn't have been there. if it's any consolation, i think this shot is great, the contrast gives it a real ethereal quality. better than some boring ol' monkey :)

I love the contrast of the picture...both High Key(whites are white) and Low Key(blacks are black...with great midtones...a very rare combination...
