hehe.. well, I use to sign my mails with "lg [liebe grüsse / lovely greetings], g." - and my name is gerald. but of course it's a jeux de mot, though originally (maybe the first seconds) not intended. and for one reason I like to keep things simple ;-) and for another, when I first uploaded here, mme Lia directly jumped onto it, which amused me. so someday I decided to keep it like that, as it's happening from time to time. somehow I think it fits well on this site, as in my opinion a big part of the history of polaroid is considered to be pornoroid.
I just have a faible for the multiple layers of simplicity. for example, it's the same reason why I love the italian kitchen - when the most simple things unveil the most richness. and tastes good.

^ So i wasn't far Gerald ... and that's a really cool nickname because of his simplicity and his complexity ...and the humourous "point " of it ! the best ideas are often the most simple ... it's a classic , sometimes a cliché but i like the Mies van der Rohe words about that : " less is more " ...
