The Jack Nicholson one is the best. I like it. It really suits me as.
1. he's insane.
2. it looks like he hasn't slept in days. = my trademark.

HA! arnold, really? You funny girl... I doubt anyone on polanoid is going to want to see my man tits hanging out.. Unless i'm wearing a gold bra and juggling duckies maybe then.

^
Ah, so no Arnie. Sigh. (I can't do him either - with or without duckies).

Jack Nicholson also has the advantage of being a simple shot. You wouldn't need to bother with too much background detail or props etc. - just hack a hole in your bathroom door with an axe, stick your head through and hey presto.

I'm bored. Fridays are so slow on this site. Maybe I'll put Jesus up anyway. Hell, it's my project, I can imitate everyone else's shots if that's what I want to do.

Yes, i saw that. i don't think i've ever had a week where i wanted to dress up as the opposite sex so i can't say that i relate.

I do look forward to your Jesus post though. I'm sure it will be very interesting.

This project looks like fun but... I'm drawing a complete blank as to who I can transform myself into. hm.

How about Danny Kaye: »link

All you'd need to do is pull your pants up so far they almost reach your armpits and then contort your fingers and make a face like an amused donkey.

This one is quite good, too: »link

Or Jack Nicholson: »link

Well done Esther! (I like the budgie on the right.)

I wonder who you'll portray next?

^
I'll hopefully get some time to play around at the weekend. I actually dressed up as Jesus this morning after breakfast, but Meminesis already did a Jesus, so I probably shouldn't upload it until the project is over. (I just felt like putting my beard on. It's been one of those weeks.)

took me five minutes before i was able to write something in here...hilarious! my face really looks like a TV set, as square as the B&J camera! Such a good fun.

uhm...strange choice of film, Viva Color (the smallest peel apart film available) and you are using it just after you tried out the 4x5 sheet film....got scared? :-)

love the unreal effect on this.

MC Hammer? not a bad idea...

^
Glad it made you laugh. I find us rather amusing here, too. There is something about those smiles.

I ended up with Viva because I wanted something in square format like the version of the picture I was aiming for and integral film wasn't working. The Viva's fairly realistic colours seemed good for this, I thought. And I was actually happy to finally find a use for that film. It normally just irritates me.

But I am still scared, of course. Not of the camera anymore, but more of wasting big film.

I've just made the mistake of looking at the B.P. pictures whilst drinking quite a large Martini, (well it is Tuesday after all) I need to recover a bit before I even begin to look at your creation, but I like Ullo's go-fast stripes and I think your giant budgie really captures Dan's expression when you patted him on the head like that.

My whole life i've been thinking cheetah meant monkey in zulu. I am so consfued now.
^
Ah, too much Johnny Weismüller at too tender an age. I understand.

Why Tarzan insisted on calling his chimp "Cheetah" has mystified generations. You wouldn't call a cat "Gorilla", for instance, would you? But maybe Tarzan would. I think perhaps in some old original film there was some scene where Jane was teaching him the names of things and he was mixing them up. That could be the origin of all the confusion.

You are the best schnippi-schnappi artist in the world i think!
Oh wait, i know you are!!!
Perfect picture, perfect styling, perfect smiling artist-couple!

Is this Camera-Monster in Ullo's hand yours?
I'm still looking so forward to see some 4x5 inch work from you!
I'm getting so nervous thinking about you and your new toy...

^
Oh thank you! It was time to have some project fun.

Yes - that monster is my Burke and James. Such a beauty! And I did take my first picture with it, but it was an Ullo picture (his idea, his choice of background and pose, his film. I just operated the mechanics). The camera certainly worked fantastically and I more or less know how to use it now. Maybe he'll upload tomorrow.

In this case it does count. :) Say I'd like to see more of you as Bettie please. Shirley you have more.
^
Indeed I can make more. I have a certain zebra picture in mind right now.

Haha....how cute. I have never heard of a budgie before. I thought that happens when my drawls are in a bunch. Wait a minute, did you mention you were a twin??
^
I have an imaginary twin. We share the same body. I'm not sure if that counts.

Ah, spot on! I woulda never guessed this was in the kitchen. How great is that. You managed to grab all of the elements in the original with a twist. Perfectly exceuted. Good job.
^
Thank you, oh mistress of disguise. I must say, I was quite proud of how well the budgies imitated the poses and expressions of the cheetahs. I'd never have thought they'd have it in them.

I'm looking for a challenge that makes me fly sky-high and then i'll blow your mind and call Mr. Wolf to get it cleaned from the inside of my cadillac.

I considered doing this: »link , but rejected the idea as too easy. It's basically getting a coat.
^
Oh, I like it, like it! Get your coat. It's never as easy as it looks, believe me.

MC Hammer? No, no: YOU should do an MC Hammer... And we? We will just be little nails beneath impact of your funky black-ass wonderfulness.

Dan is no longer employee of XXXXXXXXX and all correspondence will now be answered by a trainee gluesniffer.

Oh goody.

Hey, you, trainee: I've got some lovely UHU here. Show me your Dickinsonia and it's yours.

What a waste of time.

"Content blocked by my organisation." Now i'll get in trouble for trying to look at minge or something in work time.

I'll e-mail you the jpeg.

You could try again now. I've found a less dodgy link. (Sorry you lost your job, though.)

Well done.
Both of you.

(The photographer would be Bunny Yeager. She's still kicking around south Florida & selling books & pics on ebay. Nice lady.

Thanks for that detail. I must add it immediately.

No, i can see one of those torn document icons suggesting there is a picture hidden, I just can't see it.

Ullo looks like he's enjoying himself very much. ;)

^
OK, you can at least find it now.

I think Ullo had a nice day. The budgies were a bit stroppy, though.
