"great!"
Instead of helping Andi put the finishing touches on her new shop (Arboretum Apparel www.arboretumapparel .com - the nation's first truly eco-chic empire with stores planned from coast to coast), I decided to hang out with our friend Sharon and take some pictures while she explored town looking for the perfect rollerblade site. Sharon, you see, is a m e a n on wheels. Rollerblades, rollerskates, it doesn't matter - she tears up the pavement. And she has the stories to go with it, stories of her roller-ventures in Paris, Los Angeles, Dakar, Mozambique. So, rather than paint baseboards and bolt suitcases to brick walls, I grabbed a few cameras and did my best to keep up. Turns out shooting someone in motion with any of the Polas I brought along proved beyond my capabilities. I had to wait for Sharon to tucker, which was three hours after she started. I kid you not. Three hours on wheels. Twice a day, every day.

Okay, not that often.
