Shades of Haze
So far, it's been one long, gory battle - me and large format. A seemingly endless saga of broken levers and fractured screws and temperamental cassettes that refuse to swallow the dark slide, or things that don't seem to want to fit and things that work perfectly until you actually want to use them, But now I seem (seem) to have got everything working reasonably reliably and I've finally been able to practise using the LF camera with a cassette for ordinary type 100 pack film (many thanks to g. for that piece of equipment!)
I think I'm going to upload a few of my "practice shots" this week just to show my starting point before I (hopefully) start to make progress. I think I feel ready now to take the leap into proper 4x5 film and take out some of that lovely 55 which Arne sent me...
