polaroid t72..reanimated..
i felt clever this morning. last week i bought two packs of T72, expired in Ž99..to find out, that they were totally dry. First i thought that i had wasted a lot of money on something, that could only be used as white postcards, but then i started tinkering..yesterday i thought of putting the sheet-film ( the part with the developer pods) into warm water for half an hour...stupid and useless idea.
then replaced the chemicals with the chemicals of my 679 4x5 colour packfilm...doesŽnt work at all.
but now i removed the chemical pod from an 667 exposure, and changed the chemical pod of the t72 for that. ( in my litle darkroom..but changing the chemicals alone isŽnt that difficult...) and voilaŽ! Now the T72 works again!
(And it leaves a "paper negative"...like the 667 / t57...something i didŽnt have with my t52...only question is now...to coat or not to coat? ...time will tell, i guess.)
(next thing iŽll try is to use the chemicals of my (slightly cheaper) fuji fp 100B.)

i probably have to coat the pictures..looks like the surface is quite sensible..
