Rodney x 4
I discovered an old photo album with quite a few Polaroids in it! Woot! These are just the first quick scans of 4 of my late great friend Rodney. A very intelligent fellow, we used to talk about just about everything. We would walk the dog around the oval after dark sharing a joint and wondering when the aliens would come and take us...
he and I discovered my favourite word 'transmogrify' Yes, we had fun - the weird face makeup was done by me to him for a fancy dress party to celebrate one of our friends - who was later to become his wife 21st - birthday. Revealing shots of what I wore to come later.
Little did we know that some 20 years after these shots were taken a melenoma would take Rodney away from us. These Polaroids show me the true importance of photography...and friendship. Polaroid is dead, long live Polaroid!
