My Facing the Future test shots with the latest version of PX 70 film.

I know you're all going to ask "how?" and "what the...?" when you see these colours. What can I say? I've done a lot of artificially lit indoor shots on 600 film in the past and I suppose I treated the PX 70 similarly to the way I would treat 600 - whereas most folks probably treat it more like the way they treat SX-70.

Here are the only tips I can think of:

1) When I picked the costumes, elements and background, I was already thinking of making it as bright a shot as possible to show just how much colour the film could produce. I was inspired by the kinds of pictures that are used as TV testcards - oddballs in front of backgrounds that have lots of odd patterns and colours on them.

2) I used a mixture of a softbox with daylight lamp and a very bright halogen spotlight.

3) I arsed around and had lots of fun.
